Here you will find a packet of materials designed and used by Students for RENEW, to introduce a general audience to the problem of Unexploded Ordnance (UXOs) in Vietnam. The packet also includes an introduction to Project RENEW and an overview of their aid programs and an introduction to Students for RENEW outlining our education and fund raising programs.
Presentation #1 was developed in Vietnam by Project RENEW and introduces learners to the problem of UXOs in Vietnam, while outlining the mission and goals of Project RENEW, in Vietnam.
Presentation #2 was developed in Vermont by students at Brattleboro Union High School and discusses the history of United States involvement in Vietnam, the problem of UXOs in Vietnam, and the mission of Project RENEW.
UXOs in Quang Tri is a 7-minute digital narrative produced by Students for RENEW, introducing general audiences to the origins and current problem of UXOs in Vietnam, and the basic mission of Project RENEW.
Our second video is a TED-Talk given by Students for RENEW founder, Bill Holiday, about the impetus behind the creation of Students for RENEW and the teaching philosophy it aspired to uphold.
